First off, I want to say a huge thank you for the incredible response to this Limited Availability. Since this is SailPoint’s first attempt at an opt-in LA, we are thrilled to see such a massive amount of interest and opt-ins.
Updated Timelines
Because of the sheer volume of participation, we want to make absolutely sure that your experience goes smoothly. To ensure we have the appropriate infrastructure, monitoring, and preparedness in place for an LA of this scale, we are bumping the sandbox rollout out by one week.
New Timeline:
Sandbox Rollout: The week of June 11, 2026 (moved from June 4).
Production Promotion: The earliest date you can choose to promote these features to your production environment is now July 2, 2026 (moved from June 25).
The post will be updated very shortly to reflect these dates.
Upcoming Office Hours
To help enable you through this rollout, I will be scheduling some dedicated office hours. I’m currently working on the mechanics here for at least two sessions across different time zones to accommodate as many folks as possible, and both sessions will be recorded for anyone who can’t make it live. Be sure to follow this post for more details as we will be announcing the dates and links here soon.
We appreciate your patience and excitement as we prep for this release. Let me know if you have any questions!
Will this New Certification Enhancement also allow Admins to configure pre-defined response options for the reviewers? This has been asked for in the Ideas portal for years now and continues to be a thorn for admins where we have to follow up with Reviewers that don’t provide the needed responses when making their revocation decisions.
Hi everyone - A quick update on the rollout schedule for the Next Gen Certs Limited Availability.
We’re making a slight adjustment to the launch timeline. We originally planned to begin deploying this Thursday, but we are moving the rollout to the dates below:
June 24th: Deployment for all tenants (excluding useast and uswest).
June 25th: Deployment for tenants in the useast and uswest regions.
We’re shifting the dates to ensure we have time to fix and test a data quality bug that was discovered late last week.
While it’s never ideal to delay a release (even an early access one), our north star is a seamless experience and absolute data integrity for your campaigns. The nature of this bug risked an uneven experience for some users, so we determined it was prudent to take this short window to deploy the fix across the board, monitor it, and ensure a stable, high-quality release for everyone.
The great news here is that our data safeguards did exactly what they were supposed to do: protecting your environments (even non-production) before the code ever reached you.
Thank you all for your patience and for participating in this LA program! We’re excited to get this into your hands soon. As always, let me know if you have any questions.
Any idea when it will be? Its something that has been a well received request in the Idea Portal for years… yet no progress has been made on it. Our external auditors require a specific decision reason and so we end up having to chase this manually every quarter
Hi Violetta - please note the date change. This has not been rolled out.
Edit: Once it’s rolled out the fastest way to check is to go to the Cert Administration UI. When this is rolled out, you’ll see “Legacy Certifications” in the left nav.
Happy to share that we are still on target to begin the Limited Availability to those who opted-in to sandboxes next week.
To help you get the most out of the Certs 2.0 Limited Availability, we are hosting two live “Office Hours” webinar sessions on June 23rd. This session is intended for those customers who are in the Next Gen Certifications Limited Availability. If you are uncertain, your CSM can help confirm.
I’ll provide a brief overview of the new features (under 15 minutes) to show off what we’ve built, and then open the floor to any questions you might have about the new platform, timelines, or specific capabilities.
We want to make sure everyone has an opportunity to attend, so we are offering two separate times to cover different time zones. Both sessions will also be recorded and posted here in case you can’t make it live.
