Hi Everyone,
I am integrating a delimited flat file source in ISC. Requirements are when a user need access to that application, they will select a access profile with the roles they want for that application, after that it will go for manager approval and then governance group approval, and then creates ticket with our ITSM tool Ivanti Neurons. After the ticket is created, the application team sends a new feed file to SailPoint with user details and roles.
I am able to create ticket in Ivanti Neurons with workflow initiated by Access Request Decision trigger. ITSM integration is not possible because there is no supported connector for Ivanti Neurons in SailPoint.
Where I am getting stuck is, ISC is creating a work item and provisioning step in the timeline after approval. This provisioning task actually does not perform any action but it causes confusion, because the application should behave as a disconnected/approval only system. Is there a way to suppress or disable this provisioning step entirely for this source, or is this a expected behavior in ISC?
Hi @pkhatiwada01 !
Have you tried creating a generic SDIM to connect to the ITSM? That might help in this case.
That said, what you’re describing is expected behavior. Can you see who the provisioning task is assigned to? Once they complete it, the process will proceed. Typically, it’s assigned to the source owner.
