Requesting access to application is taken care of, and you have set an automated processes allowing for users to get the access they need.
However, when it comes to requesting access to a Shared Folder on a Filer in your data center, requesting access to a site on SharePoint Online, or a Shared Drive on Google Workspace - the process is still very much manual. Users must submit requests to IT, that have to manually review, approve and provision the access ad-hoc. This process places a significant burden on the IT or the IGA team which are already over-burdened, taking up a lot of their time, and preventing them to focus on more strategic tasks.
