Custom Authentication

Keys for sensitive attributes updated in the Header and Body must be appended in the encrypted list in the application.

This is the companion discussion topic for the documentation at https://documentation.sailpoint.com/connectors/webservices/help/integrating_webservices/idn_config_for_custom_authentication.html

Please document how / when custom authentication is triggered.
Is it before each API call? After we get a failure from an API call, or after a specific error message is retrieved from a failed call (like invalid_session)?

Hi Remi! Thank you for your input. We’ve created a Jira issue to track this effort and we’ll update the comment thread when it’s been addressed: CONDOCS-4454

A post was split to a new topic: Web Services: Configuring basic auth via custom auth scheme

Hi Mario! Thanks for your input. This appears to be related to using the product features. I’ve moved your comment to our ISC Discussions and Questions category for greater help from the community.
