Creating new User Levels

Hey everyone,

I was looking to create a new User Level like the help desk level but with more restrictions and as a read only state. Removing the ability to make changes to Accounts for Identities.

If this problem has been solved could you point me in the right direction? I tried to search the Wiki and Developer Forums and coudn’t find a guide/thread.

Currently User levels are not customizable. They are predefined as shown in this page

Finally Custom User levels added to roadmap for 2nd half of 2026, we can expect end of this year or 2026 Q1.

This is currently not supported but you can raise an idea for the same in Sailpoint Portal. But this feature is going to be available in 3rd Quarter of 2026.
