Create Distribution Lists in Active Directory

Dear Experts,

Does IdentityNow support the creation and management of AD Distribution Lists? If yes, would someone point me to any documentation or also share insights on how they achieved it?

ISC / IdN doesn’t support the creation directly, or the creation of any ‘group’ type. If it is Azure AD groups, you might be able to create something using workflows that call the Graph API, but I believe that really depends on the use case here.

I don’t think so in AD DL support in IdentityNow but in AAD its support.

They should be created automatically based on some user attributes in AD, the exact requirement hasn’t been finalized yet. In this case, then we can leverage the native rules and use PS to get it done, right? There is an OOTB workflow at the moment to “create” groups, but i think it is Security Groups only.

Yes, you can do it by using connector rule(s) and call the PS script through the rules.
