Could the details for the Jar file be updated. THe following questions would be good to have answers for:
How can we tell when the Jar file is uploaded to IDN?
How can the Admin tell when the Jar file is uploaded to the VA?
How can the Admin verify that the Jar file was uploaded correctly/completely?
Where is the Jar file stored on the VA to verify?
What happens if 2+ sources upload a Jar file with the same name, but different versions? (ie, Oracle ojdbc8.jar is the name for the 19.x, 21.x, 23.x and also prior versions. ) How can we tell which one a source is using?
If the answer to the above question in that a conflict will occur, what is the Best Practice for managing Jar Files?
How does the sourcefield “connectorFileUploadHistory” relate to the Jar file that is uploaded to the VA?
FOr oracle it states Oracle 11 or 12, but when you click the Oracle link, it takes you to the page for Oracle 23, 21 or 19. Could this page be updated to include all of the latest supported systems and a correct link? At this time, I don’t think the 23 driver is supported yet
Hi Geoff! Thank you for your input. We’ve created a Jira issue to track the effort and we’ll update the comment thread when it’s been addressed: CONDOCS-3908
