Automated Backups Not Appearing in Configuration Hub

Hi,

I’m experiencing a problem with the automated backups in SailPoint IdentityNow. According to the documentation, the automated backups should appear in the Configuration Hub with “Created By: SYSTEM” alongside manual backups. However, we’re only seeing the manual backups, and no automated ones are listed.

Are there any additional settings we might be missing, or is there a known issue affecting this feature?

Hi @AntonioGvtt,

I believe you are expecting it in SANDBOX.

Automated backups are created automatically only for PRODUCTION environment and not for SANDBOX.

Thank you @shekhardas1825, you were right; I hadn’t paid attention to the fact that it was only for production; my mistake. And from what I understand and as explained in the documentation, those backups are not configurable, right?

Yes, there are no option. But to clarify you can open a ticket to SailPoint.

I do not see any need for Sandbox, if require you can periodically take manual backup.

Or write a script using SP-Config API get all the objects you require and schedule it.

@AntonioGvtt The automated backups for production tenants are not configurable. They are intended to be full backups of all object configurations.
