Attribute Sync Error for SuccessFactors PrimaryEmailAddress

Hi experts,

Currently we have are using SAP SuccessFactors (SF) as authoritative source. And also there is requirement to write back the email address in SF. Based on the documentation, PrimaryEmailAddress can be written back into SF. And I also enabled the attribute sync.

However, I’m facing error as below:

Then, I created a UPDATE provisioning policy in the SF source in the assumption of whether the error originates due to no default update policy in the SF source.

Still it didn’t resolve this issue. First I added Person Id External in the policy. Returned with error below:

Next, I removed the Person Id External from the policy and tested again. Still facing the same error. Tried to check for the exact error in documentations and forums. Unfortunately, I unable to find one.

Seeking your expertise to resolve this issue.

Not sure if this is the issue, but personIDExternal can be changed and personID cannot. Please confirm your native identifier/identity attribute is set to personID like listed in the connector documentation. Let me know if that helps.
