I am trying to create a series of applications via the API. I see that there was a thread on this previously in March 2022 API to create the application and add Access Profile - Identity Security Cloud (ISC) / ISC Discussion and Questions - SailPoint Developer Community Forum
In the 2 years since then, has there been any development on this? The number of applications I wanted to create will take quite some time to do “by hand.” I understand that I can just create the access profiles programmatically and direct the users to request those in the request center, but right now my users are “trained” to go to Applications and I would rather avoid telling them to always go to applications EXCEPT for some things.

Currently, only cc APIs are available for creating applications or updating applications on ISC. Also, these cc APIs deprecation is extended till august end. Please refer my post where you can find the APIs to create an application and add access profiles to that app ( API to create application and add access profile - Identity Security Cloud (ISC) / ISC Discussion and Questions - SailPoint Developer Community Forum). Also, SailPoint now made access profiles directly requestable via request center.
