AD groups are appended with {Not Catalogued}

Hi ,

can some one help me on why AD groups displayName is getting appended with String {Not Catalogued}

Yes that is in Entitlement Catalog

Hi @PrashRV Verify the displayName attribute for the affected AD groups directly in Active Directory, check whether it is blank.

Check the aggregation task logs in IdentityIQ for any errors or warnings related to the affected groups and try to re-run the aggregation task to see whether that will resolve automatically.

Consider running a full aggregation (if you’re currently doing delta aggregations) to see if it resolves the issue.

some troubleshooting points:

  • Navigate to the “Schema” tab and verify that the displayName attribute is present and correctly mapped for the Group object type.
  • Compare the properties of the “Not Catalogued” groups with other groups that are displaying correctly in IdentityIQ. Look for any subtle differences in their AD attributes or configuration.
  • Are all AD groups affected, or only a specific set? If only a few, focus on their specific properties in AD.
  • The aggregation task logs for the AD application are your best friend for understanding what went wrong during data retrieval.

Ok, a couple of things then:
Check your Group aggregation task and see if there is a Group Aggregation Refresh Rule set.
Can you send a screenshot of your AD Group Schema attributes like the one I have included?

Ensure that the group attributes (like distinguishedName, msDS-PrincipalName) in AD are correctly populated. Try to Preview the group schema, and check if displayNameis mapped.

Hi @PrashRV - Please note that the AD connector does not have a Discover Schema option in the UI. If you make any schema changes, those need to be done manually and saved.
