AD Group aggregation Failure after SailPoint upgrade to 8.3

  • We’ve recently upgraded SailPoint from v8.1 to 8.3. Since the upgrade when we run AD group aggregation, it fails for a few groups with the error stated below.
  • Exception during aggregation of CN=xyz,OU=xyz,OU=xyz,DC=xx,DC=xxxx,DC=com. Reason: org.hibernate.exception.ConstraintViolationException: could not execute statement. We also disabled the “Enable Native Identity Change Event propagation” checkbox under Miscellaneous settings.
  • Any suggestions on this error are appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Can you check the logs and get the stack trace for this error?

You can try to remove the Maximum deleted group threshold value as it could cause the duplication of groups. After the task gets successful, you can revert.

Another reason might be UUID thing, check below thread :
