Access request shows waiting rather than waiting on manager name

Which IIQ version are you inquiring about?

Hi All,

Facing an issue where Access Request is showing as “Waiting” instead of “Waiting on manager name”. Attached screen shot “Sabrix 1” is the issue, but actually it should look like “Sabrix 2”. But if you click on details of the access request, inside under interaction section it shows waiting on manager.

Could you please help me here what could be the possible reason of it. I have tried to compare the identity request and it looks same, also compared the workitem.

Can you paste identity requests xmls?

Are you sharing both records from different system or sharing one old and new record ? both have huge difference in request ID .

one reason could be approval process is defined in such a way that based on some logic it didn’t went for manager approval .

Hi @kjakubiak Please find the identity request xml attached

Sabrix without manager identity request.txt (2.9 KB)

Did you maybe run Perform Identity Request Maintenance task?

Hi @kjakubiak Yes we ran PIRM task. Still its on waiting. Note we are on IIQ 8.4

Share the associated workflow cases for both requests

Was there any customization in the associate workflow ?

Hope this helps:

@arijitdas : Is your issue resolved?

Hi @Saket95606 thanks for your response and sharing the link. But my issue is a different one. As mentioned in screen shot, outside of access request it shows “waiting” when it should show “waiting on managername”(this is my issue). Inside of access request i can see pending approval under interaction. When i approve the workitem, it moves on and completes the provisioning.

We have tried with ootb workflow, and i can see the same behavior, where it is showing just “waiting”. The application type is an delimited, with integrationConfig defined.

@arijitdas
Can you please share the associated workflow cases in both the cases above.
