[Access History] How to exclude application in the YAMLConfig

Hello, we’re setting up Access History in IIQ 8.4 and we got confirmation we’re able to exclude an application altogether from having data in access history. In our conversation with sailpoint the following was asked and answered:

  1. Can we filter application data from access history (e.g. exclude an application entirely, flexibility w/in YAMLConfig file)

Yes, customers can go to YAMLConfig via Object Config page and edit the filterString to include/exclude accordingly. One can filter out certain applications from the account details. Please feel free to look at certification config as part of Access History config to see how its set up as an example.

Are there examples of how to do that? I know where to just unsure what the syntax is, we currently are using the OOTB YAMLConfig ‘AccessHistoryExtractConfig’

Wondering if anyone is able to provide any assistance on this.
Thanks

Hi @jimmykarnsNW,

Please check if this document helps : Configuring Data Extraction

Thanks

Thanks Sri,
Looking at this document it doesn’t have information on filtering out specific applications from being included in the access history data? Any recommendations on where and how I should do that? Would that be within the AccessHistoryTransformConfig or AccessHistoryExtractConfig ? What sort of filter would I be including on what attribute?
