Upcoming product maintenance and downtime

Hello @alex_derzhi .

Do you expect that workflow executions that are in a ‘waiting’ state (via the use of a ‘Wait’ action) at the time of the messaging system upgrade will be disrupted?

Thanks!

Hi,

For us (we have a tenant in EU-Central-1) the downtime went smoothly and we are not observing any issues (so far, fingers crossed).

This is (amongst other things) caused by an early announcement of downtime, which gave us the chance to ask questions (which you responded to in a timely manner) and which allowed us to prepare and inform our end users and other stakeholders. Thank you for this smooth sailing!

Kind regards,
Angelo

Just saw this on our production tenant. Please provide the correct date as we need to update our Internal outage calendar. We are US-East-1 (US).

@alex_derzhi has the planned maintenance on US-East-1 been changed from Sunday 2/25 at 0100 CST? we like some other customers have received notifications of scheduled maintenance on March 9th.

Hi Renuka, Sabrina,

Sorry for the confusion. We often schedule smaller, low impact maintenances (usually <5 mins of disruption such as DB upgrade) with only an in-app notification, which has caused folks confusion because it seems that the notification is talking about THIS major downtime.

Alas, I can’t speak to this other notification with authority because it’s not coming from my team, but I am told that its a minor DB update that most folks won’t notice. You are likely seeing the update because its scheduled date was moved and a new notification was posted.

We only have US-East-1 Production left to migrate for THIS major maintenance, and that ~4 hour downtime will start on Saturday, 2/24 at 1AM CST. All the other migrations have gone well with only minor hiccups that were easily resolved within the window.

Thanks to everyone for your patience and understanding. I can say that we have learned some good lessons from this maintenance scheduling and announcement process and will work to improve our communication and clarity for future ones.

Thanks,
Alex

Our workflows team tells me that they will resume after the maintenance is complete.

Thanks Angelo,

I’ll pass the compliment back to the team!

Thank you! I appreciate your help!

Same question… chart shows Sunday, 2/25 at 0100.

How do our users reset their passwords during this downtime. Being a hospital our users could have a need for PW Manager (my understanding is that this won’t be available either).

DELAY OF US-EAST-1 PRODUCTION

We wish to inform you that after further testing and validation work on this upcoming migration, we have identified potential concerns that require additional time to resolve. As such, we’re postponing the migration of our US-East-1 Production environment. This decision, made out of caution, aims to ensure the uninterrupted processing of your critical events. Consequently, the scheduled downtime for this Sunday, Feb 25 at 1am CST, will not occur. A new migration date will be announced once thorough testing is complete, guaranteeing no less than two weeks’ notice and aiming for minimal disruption during a weekend US nighttime. These concerns have no impact on other environments that have already been migrated, so no additional actions are necessary at this time.

We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause, especially to those who have prepared for the initial migration date. Ensuring the performance and stability of our services remains our utmost priority. Rest assured, we will provide updates and communicate the new migration schedule as soon as possible. Thank you for your understanding and continued support.

Has this been rescheduled? We saw this pop-up. Is this the same maintenance as detailed above?

Is there any downtime now for us-east systems. We are not able to access it says 503 service unavailable
