Report delete and permission-scoped report list visibility in Non-Employee Risk Management

Report creators can remove obsolete report definitions, and every user sees only report names they are authorized to access on the Reports All tab—improving report hygiene and reducing exposure of sensitive metadata in report titles.

:red_exclamation_mark: Problem

Customers could not delete report definitions in Non-Employee Risk Management. As teams experimented with reports, lists became cluttered with obsolete definitions. Separately, the Reports All tab showed every report name in the tenant—even when the user lacked permission to view or edit those reports—creating unnecessary metadata exposure risk when report titles contained sensitive information.

:light_bulb: Solution

Delete obsolete reports

  • Report creators can now delete report definitions that they created directly from the Reports page.

  • Deleting report definitions will also delete any exports of the report.

Permission-scoped report list

  • The Reports All tab now shows only:

    • Reports the logged-in user created, and

    • Reports shared with the logged-in user.

This aligns All with the existing My Reports and Shared tabs and prevents users from seeing report names they are not authorized to access.

:busts_in_silhouette: Who is affected?

All Non-Employee Risk Management customers using the Reports page in the admin/dashboard experience:

  • Report creators — can delete their own reports

  • All report users — see a permission-scoped All tab (My + Shared only)

No packaging or license change. No new product flag required.

Changes apply automatically on rollout. Administrators may want to:

  • Review existing report lists and remove obsolete definitions after delete is available

  • Confirm admin roles include view-any-report permission where tenant-wide delete is intended

Sandbox availability: Aug 10, 2026
Production rollout to begin: Aug 17, 2026

Note: Rollout will be gradual, lasting about a week.
