# Mask Sensitive information in ISC

In ISC is there a transform or an Identity attribute rule to mask an Identity attribute value like email or SSN?

Use case:

Hide or Mask certain attribute values that are visible to the users , but have to be accessible on the backend for provisioning activities!

Let’s say if email is the attribute , the value for each user have to be masked or hidden in ISC UI, but should be accessible for the connectors to perform the provisioning!

Seems like similar ideas were posted in the portal while back  
[Ability to mask identity attributes | SailPoint Ideas Portal](https://ideas.sailpoint.com/ideas/GOV-I-2459)  
@here if anyone have any latest information on or if this is on SailPoint Road map, please let me know.
