We’re pleased to announce the release of Dark Mode, with full support across SailPoint Agentic Fabric and limited support across Identity Security Cloud. Users can now enable Dark Mode, which will apply to SailPoint Agentic Fabric as well as a select number of pages within Identity Security Cloud.
Note: Custom branding colors are not currently available in Dark Mode. If you have custom branding colors configured, they will continue to appear in Light Mode, but will not be applied in Dark Mode.
Question - since this currently doesn’t apply to any of the Admin pages, why even bother shipping this in its wildly unfinished state? It’s an actively bad user experience for admins, who I’d imagine are the primary consumers of the AI in many environments.
The button to turn the feature on and off is not initially clear that pressing it is what toggles the modes. A slide button like used elsewhere in the system may be better.
I also agree that not having it working with the Admin Pages leaves out the use case for most of the people requesting it.
@JKistler Is there a timeframe for when it will be feature complete to include the admin pages and support branding in all modes?
I will chime in while we wait for the UX to improve. There is an experimental feature in both Edge & Chrome that forces all sites to load dark mode (saving us all the eye strain from poor UX designs)
You can set these to Enabled and reboot the respective application.
