# CC email in sendEmail step

_Hello ,_

I have a step in my workflow to send an email notification and it works fine. But the email is not sent to the cc despite being present in the template mail , even the principal receiver can see the cc email ,

```auto

    <Arg name="cc" value="cc@test.com"/>
    <Arg name="to" value="help@test.com"/>
    <Transition to="End"/>
  </Step>

```

Where can be the issue ?

I think CC will not work in the default sendEmail workflow step unless you modify the template or use a custom rule.

This should be work, cc is OOTB present for this method. PLesae check the email address mentioned for cc is right.
