# AS400 application integration

It’s been a really long time since I did this, but one of the “gotchas” to note is that, while the mainframe teams tend to refer to it as `AS400` (an older/technical term referring to a now-deprecated technology), and has officially been superseded/replaced/rebranded as IBM I-Series: [Integrating SailPoint with IBM i](https://documentation.sailpoint.com/connectors/identityiq/ibm/ibm_i/help/integrating_ibm_i/intro.html)
